Our GameStop team has been crazy busy since the launch of their new promotion, GameStock 2012: Summer of Game Love, which offers six weeks (June 25-August 5) of deals, instant win prizes and VIP grand prizes.
The impressive collection of prizes, discount offers, and bonuses for the first week of the promotion includes a free $50 GameStop gift card, significant dollars-off savings on select pre-owned game titles, and as much as 20 to 50 percent off specific new game titles. Even more impressive is the initial VIP Prize offering of a brand new motorcycle with its own video game tie-in that connects to one of the surprise game unveiling at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo — the upcoming immersive title Sleeping Dogs.
But that’s just a taste of the savings that are being offered so far. Check out more of the wild prizes here.
Mountain Dew, in partnership with Warner Bros., unveiled exclusive content and storylines this week with the launch of DEWGothamCity.com, an online destination created by Motive and Davie Brown Entertainment (TMA’s entertainment practice) designed to provide unprecedented access to the world of The Dark Knight Rises.
From videos, sneak peeks, and in-depth information — such as the Applied Sciences environment that will give users a history of batgear such as Batman’s suit and his badass car, the Tumbler, or back stories on characters and Gotham City itself — new content will be released regularly leading up to the film’s July 20 opening. As the pièce de résistance, the site will also include an opportunity for fans to enter product codes to win exclusive prizes, such as one of only five scripts signed by Christopher Nolan.
