Q: How can leagues and  teams differentiate themselves to fans and  sponsors?

A: By providing multiple points of engagement and  meaningful experiences at those points of engagement. Yes, it’s about attending a game and  cheering on your team, but just sitting, watching and  waiting for that to happen is outmoded. Offering the opportunity for fans to immerse themselves in added value past buying a hat or hot dog is where differentiation occurs and  fan loyalty deepens.
