TMA helped client American Airlines to activate their partnership with Disney and its latest children’s movie Planes. The strategic collaboration is part of American’s continuing effort to provide customers with the most exclusive content while promoting its new fleet of planes.
TMA worked with Smart Cookie to create an in-airport activation where parents and kids could fly through the sky as characters from the movie, including Dusty, El Chu and Tripp, which highlight American’s fleet modernization efforts with a comedic flare. Tripp wears the airline’s new look in the movie with the new logo and American flag design on the tail.
TMA also developed an exciting “Sky Inspires Us” interaction to engage American customers in the digital space as well. Site visitors control their favorite character while flying through the sky to unlock fun facts about American Airlines and exclusive, behind-the-sceens movie content.
