It’s been a good month for awards at TMA. Just last week, COLLOQUY announced the winners of the second annual COLLOQUY loyalty awards. Beating out huge national retailers Starbucks and Best Buy, GameStop was recognized for best loyalty innovation in Retail for the PowerUp Rewards program.
In the creation of the PowerUp Rewards program, GameStop leveraged its relationships with publishers to provide an unparalleled rewards experience. Offering a unique mix of points, discounts, rewards merchand ise, and epic reward giveaways that change on a regular basis, the GameStop team was able to bring the fastest growing rewards program into existence; over 10 million customers joined in less than a year, with the total now being close to 14 million total members. It’s a feat in and of itself to beat out retailers such as Best Buy and Starbucks, so congrats to the GameStop team for the hard work on this program.
