Last week a new golden stand ard for integrated social campaigns was born. Using YouTube as a platform to respond to questions and  comments from Facebook and  Twitter, the Old Spice guy  began directly speaking to celebrities and  fans. The kicker? It was in real time. Out of all the videos, the best include a   proposal and  a final sign off to   everyone.

  eBay Launches New iPhone app
Continuing in it’s push to dominate mobile commerce, eBay released a companion iPhone app for its niche site eBay fashion. The application allows users to browse, buy, and  virtually try on clothes. The app also includes access to eBay’s Fashion Vault, a Gilt-competitor that offers designer items at affordable prices. With clothes being the number 1 seller on eBay, the application is sure to be a hit.

  Forecast Predicts Double Digit Growth for Online Ad Spending
eMarketer released a forecast for 2010 that online ad budgets will increase 11.9% in 2010, with worldwide spending reaching $61.9 billion. Compared to 2009 where spending only increased 2%, this is a welcome change. Overall, the report is bullish on the prospects of ad expenditures and  expects spending to reach $96.8 billion by 2014.
