Mobile Insights: iPhone 5 Launch & M-Commerce

Apple calls the iPhone 5 “the biggest thing to happen to iPhone since iPhone,” and  from the look of things, that statement is accurate. But will it be enough to turn the industry on its head?

An interesting question is whether Apple’s omission of NFC technology will mean further delay in mobile payments taking off or if it presents an opportunity for its competitors to take a lead in this field.
