You may remember a previous post of an amazing Turkish music video that was all about a serendipitous encounter made possible via Facebook. While you may have thought that was just an odd one off from an Eastern European pop singer, you were wrong. Dead wrong. Thanks to Ryder Ripps, the folks at Internet Archaeology have compiled a list of how people around the world are using Facebook as a subject in song.
What is it about Facebook that is so compelling many would be inspired to pen a song about the social network? Given the subject of many of the videos, it seems that Facebook is the aught equivalent of the booty call. Whatever the case, seeing a social network as the focal point of a music video (let alone a song) is amusing in and of itself. See the surprising number of videos here.
