TMA was recently challenged with increasing engagement and  non-DFW participation for TXU Energy’s Dallas Film Society Sponsorship. To do this, TMA developed a targeted Facebook campaign and  voting sweepstakes.

“Light Up the Red Carpet” Student Film Contest asked Texas students to explore the future of energy conservation and  energy efficiency through video. The campaign was a bigger success than last year with 15 submissions and  over 40 percent of unique visits outside of Oncor’s distribution areas.

In the high school division, “No Blackout” took the Grand  Prize: $7,500 technology grant, film editing software, and  an opportunity to shadow a TXUE commercial shoot. The music video is complete with conservation tips, electric vehicles and  fluorescent light bulbs. Watch below.
